Fixed Dental Bridges
Fixed dental bridges in Beverly Hills
A dental bridge is a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth, anchored to the healthy teeth on either side of the gap. Dr. Kerri Hill designs each one with a cosmetic eye, in tooth-colored materials matched to your own teeth, so it restores your bite and your everyday function while it blends into the smile around it.
What sets her bridges apart is the design. A bridge does more than fill a space: it spreads biting force evenly across your smile again and keeps your remaining teeth from drifting into the gap. Dr. Hill shapes and shades every replacement tooth to the ones beside it, collaborating with master ceramists, so what people see afterward is a full, even smile rather than a visible repair. If you are weighing replacement options, our guide to implants versus dentures compares them side by side.
Is This For You
Is a dental bridge right for you?
Good Candidate If
- You are missing one or more teeth and want a fixed replacement, not a removable one
- The teeth on either side of the gap are healthy enough to anchor a bridge
- You want to restore your bite and keep your other teeth from shifting
Worth Discussing First
- Several missing teeth, or too few healthy teeth to anchor a bridge, where a partial denture may fit better
- Wanting a replacement down to the root, where a dental implant may be worth discussing instead
- Active gum disease or untreated decay around the gap
Not sure where you land? Dr. Hill will tell you honestly at your consultation if a bridge isn't the right fit, and point you toward what is.
Most bridge cases take two visits, spaced a couple of weeks apart.
The Difference
Replacing a missing tooth so the repair never shows
-
A gap closed so completely it disappears
Dr. Hill fills the space left by one or more missing teeth with a fixed bridge, shaped and shaded to match the teeth beside it, giving you a full, even smile rather than a visible repair. What people see afterward is you, whole again.
-
Your bite and everyday function, restored
A bridge rebuilds how you chew and speak, spreads biting force evenly across your smile again, and keeps your remaining teeth from drifting into the open space and shifting out of line.
-
One artist, from design to fit
Dr. Hill plans, prepares, and fits your bridge herself, seeing one patient at a time, which means one person answers for how your finished smile looks and feels.

Treatments related to dental bridges
A bridge is often one part of a larger plan. The teeth that anchor it are shaped and protected with tooth-colored dental crowns, and many patients go on to refine the front teeth that show most with porcelain veneers. If a tooth has broken off at the gum line, our guide to broken teeth explains what happens next. You can see the full range of cosmetic dentistry in Beverly Hills and decide what belongs in your own plan.

The Artist Behind Your Smile
Meet Dr. Kerri Hill, the dentist behind your bridge
For more than twenty-five years, Dr. Kerri Hill has rebuilt missing and failing teeth with an artist's eye, designing bridges and restorations that settle naturally into the smile around them. She sees one patient at a time and completes every case with her own hands. Meet Dr. Kerri Hill.
The Consultation
Your bridge starts with a conversation about the smile you want back
Patients tell us the same thing afterward: I was heard, and every decision was mine. Here is how the consultation unfolds.
We listen first
Dr. Hill starts with the tooth or teeth you have lost, how the gap changes the way you eat and speak, and how you want to feel in photographs and across a table again.
We plan and preview together
A ninety-minute first visit brings together your exam, digital imaging, and scans. Dr. Hill shows you how your bridge will sit among your other teeth and walks you through the tooth-colored materials, and you approve the design before any treatment begins.
You decide when you are ready
You leave able to picture your complete smile, with the two-visit sequence and the investment explained in full, and whether and when to begin stays entirely your call.

The questions bridge patients ask us first
How does a dental bridge stay in place?
A fixed bridge anchors to the healthy teeth on either side of the gap, which Dr. Hill shapes and protects with tooth-colored crowns that hold the replacement tooth securely between them. It stays put day and night, and regular cleanings with your hygienist keep it healthy for the long term.
What is the difference between a bridge and a partial denture?
A bridge is a fixed restoration that Dr. Hill cements in place, well suited to a small number of missing teeth. A partial denture is removable and tends to fit when more teeth are missing, or when there are not enough healthy teeth to anchor a bridge. In your consultation Dr. Hill helps you choose the option that fits your smile.
Should I choose a bridge, an implant, or a denture?
It depends on how many teeth are missing and the health of the teeth around the gap. A bridge fills the space using the neighboring teeth for support, a dental implant replaces the tooth down to the root, and dentures replace several teeth at once. Dr. Hill walks you through the comparison and helps you decide what is right for you.
Do you take insurance, and how is the cost handled?
We know insurance is how most people plan for dental care, and we want to be upfront: Dr. Kerri Hill runs a boutique, cash-pay practice and is not in-network. That choice is what lets her see one patient at a time and give your case her full attention and privacy. Financing through CareCredit, Cherry, PatientFi, and Alphaeon is available, and Dr. Hill explains the full investment during your consultation before you commit to anything.
Will I need someone to drive me home?
The visit that prepares your bridge is a quick appointment that does not require sedation. If you choose IV conscious sedation for your comfort, plan to have someone drive you home that day. Dr. Hill and her team talk you through what to expect at every step.
