The questions general dentistry patients ask us first
I get anxious at the dentist. What are my options?
Most of the people who thank us afterward felt exactly that way walking in. Dr. Hill listens before she treats, and for anyone who needs it she offers four levels of sedation, from nitrous to IV conscious sedation to general anesthesia, with a dental anesthesiologist available for larger cases.
Will I be able to drive myself home?
It depends on the sedation you choose. After nitrous or local anesthesia you can usually drive yourself, and after IV sedation or general anesthesia you will need someone to take you home.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call the practice as early as you can. A broken tooth or a severe toothache gets a same-day appointment whenever possible, with the same calm attention as a planned visit.
Is a root canal as painful as people say?
Modern root canal therapy is closer to a routine filling than the reputation suggests. Dr. Hill numbs the tooth fully and keeps sedation on hand, and the goal is to settle the infection and keep your natural tooth.
Do you take my insurance?
Dr. Kerri Hill runs a boutique, cash-pay practice and is not in-network. That choice is what makes one patient at a time possible, giving you her full attention and privacy. If cost is the worry, financing through CareCredit, Cherry, PatientFi, and Alphaeon can make a plan comfortable, and we walk through the numbers before you commit to anything.
