Emergency dentist in Beverly Hills
A dental emergency is frightening enough on its own. As your emergency dentist in Beverly Hills, Dr. Hill meets it with calm, relieves the pain first, and treats the cause the same day, whether you have broken a tooth, knocked one out, lost a crown, or woken to a sudden ache.
What sets her emergency care apart is that one clinician carries it from start to finish. You are not handed between rotating staff or sent to a call center. Dr. Hill keeps same-day and after-hours room open, answers for the whole visit herself, and treats an anxious patient with the same unhurried attention she gives a planned one.

Treatments related to emergency dental care
An emergency is often the first chapter of a larger plan. A deep abscess may lead to root canal therapy, a tooth broken beyond repair may call for a gentle tooth extraction, a painful or impacted back tooth may mean your wisdom teeth need attention, and an anxious visit is kept calm with sedation dentistry. Our emergency repair articles explain what to expect before you arrive.

The Clinician Behind Your Care
Meet Dr. Kerri Hill, the dentist behind your emergency care
For more than twenty-five years, Dr. Kerri Hill has run her Beverly Hills practice around one patient at a time, carrying every case from the first phone call to the finished repair with her own hands. For the many who arrive nervous, she is certified in IV conscious sedation and keeps a dental anesthesiologist on hand. Meet Dr. Kerri Hill.
What Happens When You Call
A dental emergency, handled calmly from your first call
Patients tell us the same thing afterward: I was calm the moment someone answered. Here is how an emergency visit unfolds.
Call and we guide you
Call or text (424) 355-0355 first. A staff member helps you judge how urgent it is, walks you through the first-aid steps to control bleeding and swelling, and books you the soonest same-day appointment.
We settle the pain first
When you arrive, Dr. Hill examines the tooth with digital imaging, controls the bleeding and swelling, and relieves your pain before anything else. For anyone who needs it, she is certified in IV conscious sedation.
We treat the cause and plan the repair
Many emergencies are resolved in that first visit. When a tooth needs a crown or an implant to restore it fully, Dr. Hill stabilizes you the same day and schedules an unhurried follow-up to complete the work.

The questions emergency patients ask us first
What counts as a dental emergency?
A severe or lasting toothache, a knocked-out or broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, swelling or an abscess, or bleeding that will not settle all deserve same-day attention. A persistent toothache is the most common reason patients call. When you are unsure, call the practice and the team helps you judge how quickly you need to be seen.
I knocked out a tooth. What should I do right now?
Call or text (424) 355-0355 first. Pick the tooth up by the crown rather than the root, rinse it gently, and if you can, ease it back into the socket or keep it in a little milk while you come in. The sooner Dr. Hill sees you, the better the chance of saving the tooth.
How soon can I be seen?
Same-day and after-hours visits are kept open for emergencies. When you call, a staff member guides you through the first-aid steps on the phone and finds you the earliest available time, with the same calm attention as a planned appointment.
Should I go to the emergency room instead?
For most dental problems a dentist is the right place, because a hospital can rarely treat the tooth itself. If you have facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or an injury beyond the mouth, go to the emergency room first and Dr. Hill restores the tooth afterward. Otherwise, call the practice as early as you can.
Can a tooth infection wait?
A tooth infection should be seen promptly. Left alone it can spread and turn a simple repair into a larger one, and a deep infection often needs root canal therapy to clear it along with a crown to protect the tooth afterward. Early care keeps your options open and your natural tooth in place.
Not sure how urgent it is? Call or text (424) 355-0355, or meet Dr. Hill.
